Panda Case Study

Our partners at Rapid Apps Group came across Panda Blinds on UK Business Forum. The owner of the company had spent a lot of time trying to build a website for his own company that sells blinds. There were a lot of comments on the site, some more helpful than others, but the problem with asking for opinions from a group of experts when you're relatively new to web development is that the answers aren't always easy to understand or quantify and can often seem conflicting.

Together wih Rapid Apps we decided to help the owner of Panda Blinds as a Case Study.

Over the coming weeks we'll be advising Panda Blinds about all aspects of the site - planning, design, technology, images and content at this forum.

Website Terms and Conditions

A number of people have asked us recently, whether they need to have terms and conditions on their e-commerce website. The short answer is yes. It ensures that there is a clear agreement in place between you and your customers that protects both parties in the event of a dispute. Most customers will be unaffected by terms and conditions, but it is important to make sure that everybody knows where the stand and can be confident that they are being treated fairly.

It is easy to ignore terms and conditions on the basis that they seem like an unnecessary expense, and indeed for very small businesses the cost of hiring a lawyer to draft your T&C's could be considerable. However, it is possible to get standard terms and conditions for free or very cheaply online, which can be used as a or modified to suit your specific needs. Here are links to just a few:
